Potential campers are individuals with complex communication needs. These individuals have a formal communication system, participate in alphabet knowledge activities, have an interest in looking at books, and actively participate in shared reading and writing activities. They are generally 7+ years old. The focus of this camp is to teach literacy and communication skills to campers who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and their families and support workers.
We consider families to be any combination of people who know your child and want to learn more about encouraging their literacy and communication development.
The size of your group may affect your accommodations. Let us know if you are unable to share a large room/cabin. Please contact us to discuss your unique circumstances.
